Our proposal for the Arquine 2023 competition reimagines a favorite children’s toy as an architectural material for a temporary installation. . The pavilion is organized within the plaza as a series of walls that, in effect, create a large-scale architectural version of Jacob’s Ladder. Beautiful patterns of shadows and filtered light change throughout the day, enlivening the square and creating spaces for people to gather and interact.
